Re: 1952 7th grade class picture with Mr Gambacorte:
Student number 10 in top row is Inez Reams.

I went to Cramer School for 8th grade and then on to Woodrow Wilson as part of first 9th grade class to attend Woodrow Wilson in 1954. I loved my teen years in East Camden.

    Hi Ken,
Guess whet. Student number 10 in top row is not me.
I spoke with Marguerite Marks and she said that we were the 7th grade class of 52-53 not 51-52. I asked her about this picture a few days ago because she has a picture with us both in it….. which was of two 7th grade classes combined…. Mr Gambacorte’s class and Miss Jackson’s class. After thinking about it , she came to logical conclusion…. (wish I had done that). Sorry.
However, as soon as possible, we will send you the picture for 7th grade class of 1953.
By the way Marguerite’s dad was Austin E Marks, fire chief in East Camden. Marguerite lived on 34th st in 2nd house from H H Davis School. Both of her brothers, Austin and George, attended Davis.
Marguerite and I became friends while sitting in detention with 6th grade teacher Ms. Thompson. We were being punished for disrupting the class….. Marguerite put a thumbtack on my seat
and I sat on it. I guess I was being punished for yelling “Ouch”.
I must be a glutton for punishment….. we have been friends since.

I think the person in the # 2 slot is Joan Lorenze and in the # 4 slot Janet Kazanjy.
