I am on the bottom row, third from the right (brown jacket/blue shirt), my wife Lorrie is in the second row, fourth from right, above to the left of my shoulder (blue dress).
This must have been a time in our culture’s history when facial hair on men was popular, as most every guy in the picture is sporting some! I’m guessing we were all between the ages of 27 and 29.
i’m located the 3rd row up, eighth person from right to left in the white jacket, black tie. yea ken, i noticed the facial hair on a lot of the men too, who were we emulating back then if anyone? i do remember a few guys back in 6th grade who had the 6 o’clock shadow at the end of the school day, lol. hope all are well from the class of ‘76!
I am in the 3rd row, 6th from the right, blue suit. I remember the reunion which was held at the Hyatt on Rt 70 in Cherry Hill. The Hyatt is now the Crown Plaza Hotel. Unfortunately I cannot recall alot of the names, but the faces are familar. Special thanks to Harry Loeffler and Ken Brown for adding another great memory to the site. Best regards to all, Dave N
I am in the last row, fourth from the right, big dorky glasses-ugh! I thought this reunion was at the Holiday Inn, also on Route 70. I think a bunch of people actually rented rooms and stayed all night to party. If I remember correctly, the five year reunion was at the Hyatt (now Crowne Plaza). I would have liked to have stayed all night but alas, I was pregnant with my first daughter so instead I just waddled on home.
Fortunately, the females don’t appear to be sporting much facial hair.
Okay I recently found the program for the 10th Reunion… it was held on October 17, 1986 at the…. Holiday Inn in Cherry Hill. So Hope, you win the pretzel, and the reassurance that your memory is still intact!
Hi to ALL!!! What a great reunion! Wishing everyone a “Happy 2009″!
How times have changed. Just thought you should all know that my son and only child, is seving our great country and is stationed in Iraq. Hoping and praying for his safe return this summer, through one of his email I found the website.
Sandy, I can not believe your son is in Iraq serving this great country. I will keep your family in my prayers. That is amazing that he found this site. My cousins daughter is over there also I give the families of our soldiers a lot of credit for being able to deal with your loved ones being in such a dangerous position. Take care and know we are praying for all of our military personel.
We were the best class..Oh did I say that…YUP!!! You Go ‘76′. Blessing to all here and those who have passed. Hope we can get together soon. If your in Northern VA…Look me up! Woodbridge, Virginia
