Cat Artist of 32nd Street

Pictured above is the famous 32nd Street “Cat Artist” Laurie Brown. As you can see, her preferred medium was fur and Easter egg dye. The only stray cats safe in the neighborhood from her artistic endeavors were black cats, as Laurie never figured out a way to paint them. She preferred white furred cats, or cats with mostly white coats. In the true spirit of  a street artist, Laurie would release her masterpieces back into the community once the food dye had dried. If anyone recognizes this “stray” as their family pet, rest assured that today Laurie is a rehabilitated  former cat artist, a mother of five, grandmother of one, and adoptive parent of many stray cats and dogs who enjoyed happy and colorful lives over the years.

  2. Hey, that photo looks altered!

  3. Ken Brown Says:

Laurie, I was wondering when the cat might drag you back here. The only thing altered was that poor cat’s sanity and his ego after you released him back into the the wilds of East Camden and he became the joke of the feline world.
